Reporting to the Assistant Director, Collections and working across the institution, also oversees the integration of the DAM system with the Museum’s digital platforms and databases, including but not limited to TMS, the website, mobile apps, and other platforms. Major responsibilities include implementing and refining the metadata taxonomy framework uploading and tagging assets managing and troubleshooting imports, and maintaining metadata and general system maintenance. Organizes and oversees the collection, import, and distribution of the museum’s diverse digital assets. The Digital Asset Manager is the key knowledge owner and strategist for the Jewish Museum’s Digital Asset Management (DAM) system (NetX), centralizes visual assets, and supports NetX interactions with related systems.
